Hey, everyone! I hope you are all doing fine.
After my last update a week ago, things have been quite busy as Adrien and I stressed out on our suitcase packing, going to last-minute appointments, and seeing family and friends before leaving France. And now, we’ve been in the Philippines for exactly one week and yet still dealing with jetlag. I don’t really mind, it’s been great to be back home and be surrounded by my family and friends. It is a laidback environment and exactly what I need at the moment. These are my lovely views every day from my parents’ house:
Last November, I also happen to celebrate the second year of Des’ Random Thoughts. I want to thank you all for the support and love and for simply taking the time checking out my site. It means a lot to me and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thanks a lot, you, guys!
Anyway, reading-wise, I managed to finish 6 books last month. Not so bad considering I’ve been extremely busy and also distracted. Blog-wise, I’m trying not to pressure myself in writing reviews for now and just enjoy my vacation. Anyway, check out below the books I’ve read the past month.
Jodi Picoult will always be a favorite and I’m glad her new book didn’t disappoint. Abortion is a sensitive topic and A Spark of Light may not be perfect but I commend her for tackling such issues.
8 more books and I’m good with my reading challenge.
That’s it for me. Thanks for dropping by, guys. Till next time. Have a great day!
