October Wrap-Up

Hello, everyone!

Oh, how time flies! It’s finally November and I already started my countdown for our two months vacation. 26 more days! It may seem like it’s still far but I’ve been waiting for far too long to contain my excitement. It’s been so cold the past few days that I can’t wait for the sun again.

November will be quite busy as we have some important appointments to attend to and it means I won’t be reading much for the next few days. Last month, though, I managed to squeeze in 7 books and 8 manga and graphic novels. The graphic novels really helped me get out of the slow pace I’m stuck with for the past couple of weeks. Anyway, check out my October reading recap below.

I have two top picks for October and they are the children’s fiction, Everlasting Nora and the psychological thriller, Closer. Two very different stories but both are well-written, emotional and engaging.

With only 2 months left in 2018, I finally got 5 books ahead of the schedule and getting closer to my target of reading 120 books. It’s all thanks to some graphic novels I’ve read.

That’s a wrap for me! How about you, guys? How many books did you finish last month? Any favorite read? Do you participate in any reading challenge? How are you faring? Feel free to leave some comments. Have a great day!

    1. Hi, Karen! Glad to have you back! 😊 We’ll be in the Philippines for two months. 😊 My husband likes to go back every year. He’s lucky he has a lot of vacation leave saved up from years of not using it. 😁

      1. Aww that’s sound like a really nice/fun vacation. I’m going there too, but in the end of Jan next year. Only for 3 weeks since that’s all I have haha. I hope you guys have lots of fun!!! ♥
