I hope you are all doing great. It’s Wednesday once again and it’s time for another WWW post.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words. To participate, just answer the three questions below and link back to her or simply put your answers in the comments section on her blog so she can check out your answers.
The three WWW questions are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I just started a very interesting novel, Mine by Susi Fox. It tells a story of a pathologist who’s been wanting to have a baby for a long time. When she finally gets pregnant, she did everything she could not to lose the baby again. But she gave birth early at 35 weeks. Good thing the baby is fine and just needed to get incubated. Only, when they finally let her see her child, she is certain he’s not hers. For a start, she’s supposed to have a baby girl, not a boy. And second, she can’t feel any connection towards him. Surely, her mother’s instinct can’t be wrong? But no one believes her, not even her husband. They easily dismissed her action as postpartum depression. Is there any way for her to find her baby?
Kiss the Girl is the last book I’ve finished. It’s the third installment of the Naughty Princess Club series and I totally love not only this book but the whole series. It’s a retelling of some of the fairytales we’ve come to love but in a modern and sexier way. It’s about three women who’ve been having financial trouble and decided to open a stripping business despite their lack of experience. What ensues is the journey of each girl in learning to strut their stuff and finding their confidence back, and in turn, finding their happily ever after. It’s definitely entertaining, hilarious, sexy and empowering.
For now, I’m leaning on reading next this children’s fiction and ghost story The Girl in the Locked Room. It looks like it would be a light read.
That’s it for my WWW. See you again next Wednesday and feel free to share your own WWWs below. Have a good day!
