book blog

WWW Wednesday: July 25, 2018

Hello, everyone!

How was your reading, so far? Me, I’ve managed to read a couple of books that I really enjoyed. I’m hoping my luck in picking good book continue because I read a lot faster when that is the case and in turn catch up to my reading challenge. I was really hoping I can get ahead a book or two by the next few months.

Anyway, here goes my WWW for the week.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam@Taking on a World of Words. To participate, just answer the three questions below and link back to her or simply put your answers in the comments section on her blog so she can check out your answers.

The three WWW questions are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

The Next Girl is the first book of the Detective Gina Harte series, and a few chapters into the story and I’m already absorbed. It started with a murder scene with an unstable character and it immediately gives off an idea of what to expect. Hopefully, it can hold my interest until the end.

Oh, how I adore this series! I was so excited to read this book as I totally love the first book with a Cinderella retelling and I already can’t wait with Ariel’s story. By the title alone, you can already tell it’s a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Although I enjoyed the first one more, Belle’s story got its own charm and it’s a plus that it revolves on saving her beloved library. Of course, it also involves her learning how to be a stripper in order to do that. Which is a big part of why this series is so much fun.

I am thinking of reading Watching You next. I quite enjoyed Then She Was Gone and this new book from Lisa Jewell sound really intriguing and creepy.

That’s it for my WWW this week. See you again next Wednesday and feel free to share your own WWWs below. Have a good day!
