I can’t believe September is over and we are now in the last quarter of 2017. Oh, how time flies. As far as blogging is concerned, September is my worst month. Not counting the first couple of months since I started my blog, that is. I’ve only managed to publish 7 blog post including the monthly wrap-up and TBR. In my defense, I’ve been
lazy busy gushing over my lovely newborn niece and packing my suitcase (in my head). I am just so excited to go home!
So, anyway, 30 days after my last wrap-up, I’ve read 6 books and 5 French manga. And though it’s not that impressive numbers, I feel that I got my mojo back. Because I am hoping to read as many books as I can before I head on our much-awaited vacation in November. And now, here’s the recap for the last month.
My September’s favorite book will be the YA historical fiction/fantasy The Girl With the Red Balloon. It may not have my five purple hearts rating but it sure is close. It presented a different kind of magic along with interesting characters and additional points for the history and diversity.
I’m 95% done on my 2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge. Yay! So close to completing the challenge. Thanks to all the manga, graphic novels, and short stories!
That’s a wrap for me! I hope you guys had a great September, too.
