Wow! June whizzed so fast we’re already in a new month. I feel like just last week I posted my May wrap-up. And now, it’s time for another wrap-up. I haven’t read as much since I’ve been out most of the time enjoying the nice weather and I had to get back to French lesson. So far, I’m still bad at it.Β π Anyway, I still managed to squeeze in 9 books and 2 French children’s book.Β
I’ve visited two bookstores where I found a good selection of English books. One is in Luxembourg called Librairie Um Fieldgen. They don’t have much English books but the titles they have are good, mostly popular ones.Β Another shop, which I’m sure I’ll visit more often is Atoutlire Bookshop in Metz, France. It is a small shop but they offer great selections of foreign language books such as English and Italian in different genres. It is a welcoming place and the owner is really friendly who’ll help you find what you’re looking for and offer some suggestions. Plus she speaks English, so no need to worry if you’re not so good in French, like me. The photo below shows my book haul for June.Β I won The Charm of Revenge at Goodreads giveaway.
I’m also doing quite well on my reading challenge. 22 books ahead!
Also, Adrien, my husband, and I got a new bookshelf and I’m so excited to fill it with books.
Overall, a great reading month for me. How about you, guys? How’s your June been?
Such am amazing bookish post. Loved your book haul and bookshelf!

Thanks, Sophie! Quality over quantity. π As long as you’re having fun then that’s fine.

You had a lovely reading month – and I’m glad you found good bookshops with English sections, we in France aren’t always good with that ahah π Also, if you need any help with your French, I can always help π
I hope you’ll have an amazing July π
