Beautiful Little Fool by K.K. Hendin

Title: Beautiful Little Fool

Author: K.K. Hendin

Eighty seven billion dollars.
One dead New York business mogul.
No heirs.
No wives.
No relatives.

Eighty seven billion dollars.
Not hers yet.
He doesn’t deserve them.
He doesn’t know what to do with them.
She does.
She always has.

Eighty seven billion dollars.
He’s overwhelmed.
She’s prepared.
That will should have had her name.
Not his.

Eighty seven billion dollars.
His looks are a bonus.
Her looks are her weapon.
He’s fighting a losing battle against his heart.
He doesn’t know it yet.

Eighty seven billion dollars.
She gets everything she wants.
He’s what she wants.
Love has nothing to do with it.
To get to where you’re going, sometimes you need to step on a few people to get there.
Good thing her heels are sharp.

(WARNING: This is not a happy book. This is not a book about nice people. If you are a person who likes happy books about nice people, I suggest you skip this one entirely.)

My thoughts:

By reading the blurb, you might think, “Interesting.” And it sure is. In a weird twisted kind of way. It is a fast read so don’t expect a lot going on. Cedar Reynolds is the type of character that you would love to hate. I certainly did most of the time. But you have to admire her intellect. She is intriguing as she is dubbed as the “Queen of New York” and is willing to do anything to get what she wants. Yes, anything. And that is where this book revolves. Cedar getting what she thinks is rightfully hers at all costs. Ellis Carrington, on the other hand had some potential on the first few chapters but become a big let down upon meeting Cedar. He redeemed himself on the last part of the book but not too much. The characters may not be believable but after reading the book, you kind of forget about it. The twist is insane and well, twisted, from a lack of word for it. It will keep you guessing which will make you turn the pages till the end. It is crazy amazing and it’s what makes this book good.

Beautiful Little Fool is the first book I’ve read from Hendi and I can say it won’t be the last. Consider the warning though before carrying on reading this book.

RATING: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
